The Cliff Notes

I’ve been actively involved with purebred dogs for more than thirty years.
As a third-generation dog fancier and Vizsla breeder, I began in Junior Showmanship, which sparked a lifelong passion for the sport. By age 13, I was apprenticing with professional handlers, and by 14, I bred my first Vizsla litter. From that point forward, I immersed myself in every aspect of conditioning, presenting, and campaigning dogs. In this sport, there is no substitute for hard work and experience, and my learning continues every day with each new dog and partnership.
In 2021, I retired from professional handling to join the American Kennel Club, where I served as Head of Grooming and directed the AKC Dog Grooming Institute. This work allowed me to help shape nationally recognized credentialing programs while also dedicating more time to my breeding program and advocacy for purebred dogs and dog sports.
Our Vizslas trace back nearly 14 generations in my family’s program, a legacy that began in 1982 with my grandmother, Gwen Tomlinson (Vizion), and my mother, Teresa Gimbut (Foxfire). Their passion and dedication remain at the heart of our breeding, and it’s a privilege to carry that heritage forward.
